This is an original photo from the very first St.Patrick’s Day Parade in 1975.  The signs were made of heavy wood and painted white.  Verbiage was – "First & Last, Annual, International, Ecumenical, One of a kind, St. Patrick’s Day, Parade!!"  SaPaDaPaSo honors the very first parade by carrying white replica signs every year at the front of our parade.  Signs are typically carried by family members and friends of SaPa.
